Mark Zuckerberg is the third richest person in the world. He owns the social media platforms Facebook and Instagram. You might assume that, having all the world's entertainment at his disposal, the 40-year-old doesn't spend much time clicking away at games on Steam. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Mark Zuckerberg has spent over 1,000 hours on Steam
In an interview with Pubity on TikTok, Zuckerberg revealed that his wife, Priscilla Chan, was shocked when she saw how many hours he had spent playing a game on the Steam platform. She remarked, "What? You've played this for more than a 1,000 hours?" Which game has so thoroughly absorbed the billionaire? It's "Civilization"—a series of strategy games, the first of which was released in 1991. Zuckerberg didn't specify which edition he spent so much time on.
Zuckerberg, however, admitted that he would like to be the best in the world at "Civilization." He also suggested that he set up a Twitch account and compete with other players to prove his superiority. He announced, "I'd be surprised if anyone in the world could beat me at that."
Commentators mock Zuckerberg's "upgrade"
In the comments under the TikTok on Pubity's profile, most people joked about Zuckerberg. One wrote, "Even Mark Zuckerberg doesn't want to stream on Facebook." Indeed, even though the platform provides such an option, it isn't wildly popular. Perhaps it's because older internet users tend to use Facebook.
Many comments also referred to the change in Zuckerberg's image, whose behavior in the media had been perceived as unnatural, even "robotic," for many years. The most popular comment on this topic is, "His AI conversation engine is getting better." Another person clarified, "Ever since artificial intelligence appeared, he has acted more naturally. He got more data."
