"In addition to the first captured soldiers from North Korea, there will undoubtedly be more. It's only a matter of time before our troops manage to capture others," wrote President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday evening.

He added that three years ago, Putin started by issuing ultimatums to NATO and attempting to rewrite history, yet now he cannot do without military support from Pyongyang.

"Ukraine is ready to hand over Kim Jong Un's soldiers to him if he can organize their exchange for our warriors who are being held captive in Russia," declared the Ukrainian president.

Zelensky noted that for those North Korean soldiers who do not wish to return, there may be other options available. "Those who express a desire to bring peace closer by spreading the truth about this war in the Korean (language) will be given that opportunity," he emphasized.

The previous day, Zelensky announced the capture of two North Korean soldiers. "Our soldiers have captured North Korean military personnel in the Kursk region. Two soldiers, though wounded, survived and were transported to Kyiv, where they are now communicating with the Security Service of Ukraine," he announced on social media.

According to Western sources, over 10,000 North Korean soldiers are supporting the Russians in the fighting in the Kursk region. Data disclosed last December by South Korean intelligence indicated that at least 100 North Koreans have already died there, and around 1,000 have been injured.
