"We must address the ongoing issue at the Polish border, which has transcended economic and moral considerations," Volodymyr Zelensky stated in an evening address shared on social media.
"It's unfathomable how the struggles of our embattled nation can be exploited for internal political conflicts," the Ukrainian President remarked.
Yet, he reassured that Ukraine will navigate through these challenges too.
"I am confident that Ukraine will persevere, achieve its objectives, and rise above Russian aggression. Together, we can make sure of it," Zelensky asserted.
Long queues of Ukrainian trucks
According to Andriy Demchenko, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Border Guard, over 2,400 trucks are lined up on the Polish side, awaiting entry into Ukraine.
"Polish farmers are continuing to block truck traffic. With six border crossings affected, more than 2,400 trucks are lined up in Poland, waiting for their chance to cross into Ukraine," Demchenko reported, as cited by the European Truth service.
