"If Trump knows how to end this war, he should tell us today. If there is a risk to Ukraine's independence, if we lose statehood, we want to be prepared, we want to know," said the president in an interview with Bloomberg.

Zelensky added that he is ready to meet with Trump to hear his team's proposals. "They cannot plan my life, the lives of our people, and our children. We want to be sure and know if we will have strong support from the USA in November or if we will be completely alone," said the Ukrainian president.

Volodymyr Zelensky strongly disagreed with the theory that Ukrainian and Russian troops are at a stalemate on the battlefield. He also added that he is grateful for another aid package approved this year by the US Congress but said that the delivery of military equipment to the front lines is taking too long.

"The biggest tragedy of this war is that between decision and fact, we have to wait a very long time," he concluded.

End of the war? trump's advisors presented a plan for ukraine

Two key advisors to Donald Trump, Keith Kellogg, and Fred Fleitz, presented him with a plan to end Russia's war in Ukraine. It stipulates telling Ukraine that it will receive more American weapons only if it starts peace talks.

The United States will simultaneously warn Moscow that any refusal to negotiate will result in increased US support for Ukraine, said retired Lieutenant General Kellogg, one of Trump's national security advisors, in an interview.

Trump was supposed to agree to this scenario. "He reacted favorably," said Fleitz. "I'm not saying he agreed or agreed with every word, but we were satisfied," he said.
