Despite his very young age, Nagelsmann is already an experienced coach. Prior to taking on the national team, he coached Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig, and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. He won three trophies with the Bavarians: a championship and two German Super Cups.

Privately, Nagelsmann is in a relationship with Lena Wurzenberger. Their relationship caused quite a scandal in Germany. The 31-year-old was a journalist working in Munich. When their relationship came to light, "Bild" terminated her employment immediately. Shortly after that, the Bavarian coach also lost his job. The media speculated that Wurzenberger's articles were based on what she heard during private meetings with Nagelsmann.

The beloved German national team's coach supported him in the first match at Euro 2024. Journalists and paparazzi spotted her in the stands at Allianz Arena in Munich. Lena Wurzenberger's jersey attracted attention, especially the inscription on her back: "Julsi."

German media speculate that "Julsi" is Nagelsmann's nickname. Bild reminds us that when the 36-year-old coach was still at Bayern, he was affectionately called "Jules." He even received a bracelet with his nickname.

Great expectations for Germany at Euro 2024

Germany is hosting the European Championship tournament, and expectations in the country are high. Die Adler is playing in Group A at the Euro. Their opponents include the Scots, the Swiss, and the Hungarians.

Only by finishing first in the group will fans across the country's expectations be met. Germany is mentioned, alongside France, Spain, and England, as a favorite to win the European Championship.
