Maddie Lambert-Crowley became a mother for the first time at 13. The young woman dreams of having a large family. She openly admits that she would like to have four children. How did parenthood at a young age affect her?

Maddie Lambert-Crowley, who became a mother at 13, shared her journey to motherhood and her future plans. Although she began her parenting journey very early, now at 20 years old and with two children, she dreams of having a large family—she would like to have as many as four kids.

Do I want more kids? Yes, people think I'm crazy, but I think we definitely want at least two more kids, she admitted, quoted by "The Sun."

At the same time, she revealed that many people did not expect such a decision.

I know I've done this crazy switch up; people are like, ‘Oh, Maddie's the smart Teen Mum, she's not going and having a bunch more kids right away. But honestly, I want a big family. I want to fill my house with love. Even though I'm young, I'm at an age where I can financially support my kids, emotionally support my kids, and give them a good life. I think those three qualifiers make me more qualified to be a parent than somebody who is 30 years old, she added.

She became a mother at the age of 13. "I don't recommend it"

In September 2023, Maddie married her beloved Randy. At that time, she was already pregnant with Ryder, her second child. She has her first child with someone else.

Now at 20 years old, she confidently states that age really does not matter when it comes to parenting.

I don’t think age has anything to do with your ability to be a parent, she said.

Maddie is, however, aware that motherhood at a young age is not for everyone.

I don't recommend having kids as a teenager because you don't know the things you need to know to be a parent., she concluded.

She also did not hide that when she became pregnant at 13, she faced many adverse reactions. When I got pregnant, I was terrified of people's reactions. I received a lot of negative comments and a lot of hatred. People sent me addresses of abortion clinics, she continued.

Maddie is a firm believer that teen pregnancy isn’t something to "look down" on young girls for, "The Sun" comments.
