Instructions:

  1. Slice the chicken breasts lengthwise into thin cutlets. Season them with salt and pepper, and then coat them with flour.
  2. Heat the oil and butter in a pan. When the fats are hot, add the chicken breasts to the pan and fry for 5 minutes on each side until golden. Transfer the seared chicken to a plate and set aside.
  3. Next, fry chopped garlic in the same pan. Once lightly browned, add chicken broth and deglaze the pan by scraping off any pieces stuck to the bottom with a wooden spoon.
  4. Lower the heat and add cream and grated Parmesan to the pan. Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes. Season the sauce with chili flakes (if desired), thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper. Also, add the sun-dried tomatoes.
  5. At this stage, reintroduce the chicken to the sauce and let it simmer until it is cooked and the sauce thickens.
  6. For the finishing touch, garnish your dish with chopped fresh basil leaves. Serve it warm with pasta or rice, and enjoy.
