Maisie Smith underwent bariatric surgery before pursuing a self-funded "Turkish Makeover". She broadcasted live from her hospital bed to her followers, her eyes filled with tears. The transformation she has since undergone is unbelievable, as many internet users couldn't recognize her.
Despite numerous chilling testimonials from local clinics, "Turkish makeovers" continue to escalate in popularity. One such client of these Turkish surgeons was Maisie Smith, an aspiring TikToker, who encountered moments of absolute terror while in her hospital bed. In a video she shared on TikTok, she disclosed her immense pain and growing anxiety about her health.

The "Daily Star" covered Maisie's case. The publication reported that a year prior, Smith underwent bariatric surgery and successfully lost up to 117 pounds. Unfortunately, as can happen, she was unhappy with the loose skin, which she referred to as her "jellied belly", and had a keen desire to get rid of it. She also wanted a breast augmentation. Following her decision, she soon found herself on a plane to Istanbul.
Regrettably, the surgeries Smith underwent in Turkey weren't easy nor devoid of pain. She posted a video on TikTok from her hospital bed expressing immense regret. She was unable to hold back her tears, and the pain was so intense that she marked her clinic visit as the "worst decision of her life".
I can't even cry. I feel out of place, I'm getting a blood transfusion. This is the worst decision of my life - she shared deep regret.
In the comments, she found herself defending her actions against critics who pointed out that she had brought this on herself.

In total, approximately 11 pounds of loose skin was removed, and breast implants were inserted. Thankfully, her pain subsided quickly, and she was soon able to return home.
Presently, she takes to the internet to share her impressive transformation journey over the past several months. She also remains open to aesthetics procedures, and recently opted to enhance her lips. Despite the challenging experiences, she hasn't ruled out future procedures - she recently expressed her intent to undergo a thigh lift procedure.
