On Saturday morning (December 28), the Greater Manchester Police received a report concerning a woman at the intersection of Rostherne Road and Garners Lane in Stockport who attempted to exit a car but was pulled back inside and struck.

"We are extremely concerned for the woman's safety," officers emphasized, releasing images from the surveillance camera showing the location of the incident and the suspect's car. "We understand these are not high-quality images because the vehicle was moving quickly," they noted, hoping that someone might recognize the kidnapper's car.

The woman was described as "white and wearing dark leggings and Ugg boots," while the driver was identified as a "white man wearing a black coat or sweater." The hatchback-type vehicle was last seen heading towards Davenport railway station just after 1:30 AM (Eastern Time) on Saturday.

Officer Natalie Jamieson reported that the police are going door-to-door, questioning residents, and securing CCTV and dashcam recordings in an effort to understand all the circumstances of the incident.

"So far, the whereabouts of the woman or the driver have not been determined. At the center of all this is a woman who potentially urgently needs protection or medical care. We must locate her as soon as possible," Jamieson emphasized, urging witnesses to contact the police immediately.
