Windows Hello gets a stylish upgrade in Windows 11 preview
Microsoft has redesigned the Windows Hello interface in Windows 11 to make logging into the system and services more visually pleasing and intuitive.
The changes are currently available only to participants of the Windows Insider program. They have been implemented in the Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.4440 (KB5045889) version; however, Microsoft notes that individual features are being gradually rolled out to users.
Windows 11 with a refreshed windows hello interface
Changes are already evident on the system login screen. Microsoft has introduced new iconography, which—according to the press release—is "adapted to modern standards of Windows visual design."
Other authentication screens, including those for the Microsoft Store and the login panel using access keys, have also been redesigned.
The update also brings bug fixes and improvements, such as resolving an issue that caused the touch keyboard to crash.
It is not yet known when the refreshed Windows Hello interface will be available to all Windows 11 users, but it is expected to happen within a few months.
