Windows 11: sharing Wi‑Fi passwords will be more convenient
Windows 11 will offer the option to conveniently share Wi-Fi passwords that are saved on a computer. Similar to Android, in Windows 11 you will be able to generate a QR code, the scanning of which will allow for a quick connection to the internet on a smartphone.

Windows 11 will allow in the near future to generate a QR code with a Wi-Fi password, to which the given computer is connected - this is apparent from the analysis of test compilation 25977 available on the Dev channel in the Insider program. As Windows Latest mentions, this is not the only change in this release.
Microsoft is also introducing Bluetooth LE Audio support to Windows 11, which is wireless communication adapted to work with hearing aids - you will be able to pair them directly with Windows 11, for example to stream music or voice calls. Other new features in the system are additional privacy options - Windows 11 will notify the user that a given application wants to, for example, access location and ask him for permission, just like Android would for example.
The ability to generate a Wi-Fi password in the form of a QR code is merely a change in the way passwords are shared from Windows 11. You can already access settings in which you can display the password on the screen. The QR code, however, will speed up the entire process if we want to connect a smartphone or tablet to the network, which are equipped with cameras.
The described innovations are currently part of a test release, but they should eventually end up in Windows 11 for everyone. It's worth noting that we are indeed expecting the release of the 23H2 update soon, but in practice, it will be a small set of changes that unlock features that have already made their way to Windows 11 which is regularly updated. The official release date is not yet known, but everyone is expecting the release to happen in October.
