According to Kiev, sending weapons produced in the USA and the European Union to the Middle East has not only a military purpose, but also a propaganda one. HUR warns that the next step of the Russian side could be spreading false information as if Ukrainian military were selling Western weapons to terrorists.

"As part of the Kremlin's disinformation campaign, these fakes are supposed to be the basis for a series of 'exposing publications' and 'investigations' in Western media. To make them credible, Russian special services intend to use appropriate comments from a traitor from the Ukrainian border guard, Lieutenant Ruslan Syrovev, who recently fled to Moscow" - warns the Ukrainian intelligence.

Kyiv indicates that the purpose of such provocation is to discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine and completely halt military aid from Western allies.

Qatar enters the game. Negotiations with Hamas have begun

Meanwhile, reports have emerged that Qatar is also getting involved in the ongoing war. According to Reuters, the country is mediating discussions about a possible exchange of Israeli women and children kidnapped on Saturday by Hamas fighters for 36 Palestinian women and children currently in Israeli prisons. The agency cites an anonymous source for this information.

An Israeli official denied this information, as cited by the Times of Israel portal. - There are no negotiations regarding the release of hostages - he said. The portal does not provide the name or position of this official.

Hamas representative in Lebanon, Osama Hamdan, confirmed the talks in a conversation with the Emirati portal The National. - I think we're not talking about one leading country in mediation efforts between Hamas and Israel, but I can say that the talks actually started yesterday - he stated, as quoted by the portal.
