A shocking incident occurred on a Mexican beach when a wild bull attacked a tourist. A group of bystanders recorded everything, and the video was posted on social media.

"A bull charged at a woman on a beach in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur over the weekend as horrified tourists watched and warned her to back away," reads the caption on a recording published on Instagram by CBS Evening News. Maria Leticia Montano posted the video.

Shocking video

In the recording, which has been viewed 112,000 times, the bull approaches the woman's bag and other personal belongings. At that moment, she has the opportunity to slowly back away, which other people nearby urge her to do. "You are irritating it. Please don't do that, run away!" someone shouts in the background. However, the woman does not heed this advice. Instead, she attempts to retrieve her bags. "Jesus! Run away!" the bystanders shout nervously.

Her behavior enrages the bull, which finally attacks her. The increasingly aggressive animal knocks the woman down, making the situation look very dangerous.

When the woman tries to get up, the aggressive bull strikes her again with its horns, causing another dangerous fall. The animal tosses her around while the beachgoers shout that she does not listen to them.

Finally, another woman emerges from behind a car parked on the beach carrying a bucket of water, trying to splash the bull. This manages to at least scare the animal a little. The battered woman, whose identity is unknown, gets up and moves to a safe place.

Internet users comment

The video has received a flood of comments. Internet users praised the actions of women who tried to help the one attacked by the bull. Most commenters criticize the men who did nothing to assist. "Notice that the only person who helped was another woman with a blue bucket of water, while the men did nothing! Someone could have started the car or honked the horn..." reads one comment under the video.

A significant number of internet users agree that the attacked woman should have immediately walked away from the bull instead of persistently trying to retrieve her bags, thus aggravating the wild animal.
