Ingredients:
- 2 large potatoes
- 2 carrots
- 1 onion
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons of flour
- 1 tablespoon of dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
- About 6.3 ounces of canned diced tomatoes with herbs
- About 4.2 ounces of grated cheddar
- 6 tablespoons of chopped fresh dill.
Preparation process:
Step 1. Begin with preparing the potatoes, the main ingredient. First, peel them, then grate them using a grater with large holes.
Rinse the potatoes using cold water and set them aside for a minimum of 30 minutes. This helps to remove the additional starch from the vegetables.
Step 2. Add peeled and grated carrots and onion to the drained and dried potatoes. Also, incorporate egg, wheat flour, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
Blend the ingredients thoroughly using a regular tablespoon.
Step 3. Preheat a generous amount of oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, add the potato pancakes mixture to it.
