Looking for a quick, simple, and, above all, tasty dinner presented in an exciting way? You can do it! The best example is my tried and true recipe for excellent potato pancakes with, among other things, poultry ham.
When I whip these up, I don't have to call anyone twice for dinner. Every family member turns up at the table in a flash. Moreover, they immediately request a double portion of crispy pancakes. You'll have the same experience!
With just one bite of these crispy pancakes, you'll be hooked. They're that good!
Ingredients:
- 6-8 potatoes,
- approximately 3.5 ounces of poultry ham,
- approximately 3.5 ounces of grated cheddar,
- 2 tablespoons of chives,
- 1/2 teaspoon of flaked garlic,
- 1/2 cup of wheat flour,
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil for frying,
- seasonings: salt and pepper to taste.
Preparation method:
Step 1. Begin the recipe by preparing the potatoes. Peel them first, then cook in salted water. Transfer the potatoes to a large bowl and mash using a potato masher.
Step 2. Add the poultry ham to the bowl. Make sure to cut it into small cubes first.
Step 3. Remember to include: grated yellow cheese, finely chopped chives, flaked garlic, wheat flour, salt and pepper.
Mix all the ingredients with a regular tablespoon to create the perfect flavor combination. Afterward, knead the contents of the bowl by hand.
Step 4. Break the resulting mixture into smaller pieces, then mold them into small pancakes. Preparing a single pancake takes me less than 30 seconds, making it an efficient dinner idea.
Step 5. Heat a pan on the burner and pour oil into it. Once properly heated, place the small pancakes inside and fry on both sides for 4 minutes each.
During this time, each pancake should acquire a delightful golden brown color.
Step 6. After frying, drain the pancakes on a kitchen towel to remove excess fat. Serve the pancakes garnished with finely chopped chives. Bon appetit!
Of course, feel free to serve these meat and potato pancakes with your favorite sauce or dip for a taste combination that suits you best.
