Where is Alizée now? Pop sensation turned dance school owner
16-year-old Alizée took the music market by storm with her single "Moi... Lolita" over two decades ago. Today, she is involved in something completely different but hasn't given up performing on stage. Has she changed a lot?
Alizée appeared on the music scene in 2000, when "Moi... Lolita" dominated the European charts. The 16-year-old artist became an overnight sensation, and tickets to her concerts sold like hotcakes. Unfortunately, the market can be fickle, so after her well-received debut, her subsequent songs did not achieve similar success.

In the following years, Alizée continued her music career and released more albums, but she could not produce a hit comparable to "Moi... Lolita." Along the way, she married Jérémy Chatelain, whom she met at the Eurobest festival, and soon after, she stepped back from her career to focus on motherhood. This decision was primarily driven by the birth of her daughter, to whom she wanted to dedicate as much time as possible.
She eventually returned to the stage in 2007, but a few years later, her marriage sadly ended. In the meantime, she devoted much more attention to her second greatest passion—dancing. In 2013, she won the French edition of "Dancing with the Stars."
During her participation in the dance show, she also met her second husband, Gregoire Lyonnet. They welcomed a daughter together in November 2019. Today, Alizée and her husband run a dance school and mainly focus on their family life.
However, this does not mean that the artist has wholly given up performing on stage. In recent years, she has appeared on television and performed her biggest hit both in France and abroad. She even performed at the Miss Supranational 2024 gala.
