A cryptocurrency reward for credible details about the opposition leader has been offered on social media.
In the recent two weeks, Navalny has not been available for remotely conducted hearings via video link. Lawyers have been denied access to the opposition figure. Last week, Navalny reportedly fell ill in the prison camp and was placed on an IV, according to his spokesperson, Kira Yarmish.
Navalny, who has instigated large-scale protests against the Russian authorities in recent years, is currently confined in a penal colony. He was apprehended in January 2021 upon his return to Russia from Germany, where he was receiving treatment following a suspicious poisoning incident.
Russian authorities have filed additional criminal charges against him, culminating in sentences exceeding 30 years in prison.
