What will the Citroën C3 Aircross be like? Up to 7 seats and a low price

Not long ago, we had the opportunity to see the new Citroën ë-C3 in all its glory, and we have already received the first reports about the looming Aircross version. What will it characterize?

A few days ago we witnessed the official debut of the Citroën ë-C3. The new electric hatchback is intended primarily to be a budget-friendly, albeit solid choice based on the Smart Car platform. This is meant to allow for competition with Chinese models, which based on the value for their price, pose a strong competition for Europeans.

We had barely seen the electric C3, and we already learned about further versions of this car. And no, it's not about the gas-powered Citroën C3, which will also hit the market, but about the C3 Aircross edition.

As revealed during the presentation of the ë-C3, Citroën ë-C3's General Manager Thierry Koskas, the C3 Aircross is set to debut in Europe in 2025 and is also to be built on the Smart Car platform. It currently limits the range to around 199 miles, but it allows for a significant reduction in cost.

This will be significant, as we will be dealing with... a 7-seater SUV. It won't be a vehicle drastically larger than the new C3, which is even more impressive. More precisely, we're talking about the 2+3+2 seating configuration. Similarly, as in the case of the base C3, as reported by Automotive News Europe, we will first (in 2025) see the electric version of the Aircross model, and only then will the gasoline version hit the market.
