Feeling like your relationship needs an energy boost? A relationship expert has revealed some ways to maintain a successful connection with your significant other. "There are many ways to rekindle the passion and build a deeper bond with your partner," she explained.

Does it seem like your relationship has been stuck in a rut for some time? Sometimes, reviving those old feelings between a loving couple is necessary. How do you do it? Relationship specialist Rebecca Dakin shared tips for improving relationships in a conversation with the British portal The Sun. The expert notes that focusing exclusively on the physical aspect of the relationship can lead to neglecting other equally essential elements.

Remember, however, that building a strong and lasting bond requires time, effort, and commitment from both parties. Therefore, these tips may not work if neither of you is willing to do the work.

Household chores as a way to improve the relationship

The expert reveals that one thing that can positively affect couples is folding laundry together. This way, the couple has time to talk and can show each other support even in the most mundane matters.

"As you fold the sheets you can kiss when you get up close and personal," added Dakin.

Doing something together that might give you chills is also an interesting activity. Watching a scary movie or riding a roller coaster can trigger the release of oxytocin, the bonding hormone.

"Being spooked will make your love stronger," explains the expert.

Goofing off together to strengthen the bond

The specialist also emphasized that choreographing a dance to popular music and feeling uninhibited can make you feel like a teenager again. Crazy fun will make lovers happy and eager to get closer to each other.

Rebecca Dakin revealed that an exciting idea is to choose an entirely new outfit for the other half, including underwear.

"You may be surprised. It can help you push each other out of your comfort zone."

Don't get discouraged if not everything goes as planned right away. The most important thing is to support each other and show love and respect.
