For the meat mix:
- 0.66 pounds ground turkey meat
- 3 tablespoons of dried marjoram
- 1.5 tablespoons of sweet paprika
- 1 tablespoon of dried garlic
- 1.5 teaspoons of salt
- ⅓ teaspoon of pepper
- 2 tablespoons of oil
For the add-ons:
- 8 small potatoes
- 0.88 pounds tomato passata
- ½ red bell pepper
- ½ green bell pepper
- ½ yellow bell pepper
- 0.22 pounds cherry tomatoes
Instructions:
Step 1. Begin the recipe by preparing the meat mixture. Blend ground turkey meat with spices: dried marjoram, dried garlic, sweet paprika, salt, and pepper. Finally, pour oil into the bowl.
Mix all the ingredients thoroughly to achieve the perfect flavour combination.
Step 2. Next, prepare the potatoes. Peel and boil them, then cut each in half. Place some of the meat mixture between the two potato halves.
Step 3. Transfer the prepared potatoes to a baking dish, arranging them into two vertical rows. Then, sprinkle cherry tomatoes and chunks of bell pepper in yellow, green, and red over the meat and potato mounds.
Step 4. Finally, cover the ingredients with a generous layer of tomato passata. Spread the sauce evenly over the entire surface using a regular tablespoon.
Step 5. Bake the dish in a preheated oven for 60 minutes at 356 degrees Fahrenheit.
