Almost everyone succumbs to the romantic spirit of Valentine's Day. Former US President Donald Trump was no exception. Although, he chose an unusual platform to express his sentiments to his wife.

The expression of affection came as an email aimed at potential donors and focused on fundraising.

"Dear Melania, I love you! Despite every accusation, arrest, and witch-hunt, you've never left my side. You've supported me in every endeavor. I wouldn't be who I am today without your unwavering support, kindness, and warmth. You will forever be my entire world, Melania! - wrote Trump."

Several links within the email directed donors to a page where they could leave warm Valentine's Day messages for the former first lady. Additionally, the site offered an option to contribute monetarily to Trump's campaign.

Despite Trump professing his love and support for his wife, reciprocity from Melania is less apparent. The former first lady has been noticeably absent from events connected to her husband's campaign. She has not been present at his public addresses, and even the Trump family's holiday photo was noticeably void of her presence.

This is not an isolated instance. Experts from around the globe have commented that Melania Trump does not appear as committed to their relationship as her husband does. Even during Donald Trump's presidency, she frequently avoided public appearances alongside him, maintained distance when near him, and often displayed displeasure.
