At the start of 2010, the location where the residence is reportedly located was owned by the proprietors of a local tourist base. According to the Dossier Center, these owners were ousted through customary methods, including trips to the Prosecutor's Office.

The Dossier Center has links with Russian businessman and opposition figure Mikhail Khodorkovsky. The Center continues to investigate the illicit activities of Kremlin delegates.

Presently, the property boasts three modern residences. In official documents, these buildings are named "fishing hut", "barn", and "garden house". Also located on this property are amenities like a sauna, trout breeding facilities, a marble beef dairy farm, two helipads, yacht docks, and a waterfall.

Does Vladimir Putin's "secret residence" include a defense system?

The independent Russian website Meduza reports that some years ago, a construction thought to contain an "air defense system" appeared in front of the "barn", equipped to protect the residence owner from potential attacks.

About 2.5 miles from Putin's "secret residence", another residence is under construction. It too comes with luxurious amenities such as a pier, helipad, and more. This property is owned by businessman Roman Abramovich - asserts Meduza, as supported by PAP's report.
