Homemade toilet cleaner: avoid inhaling caustic detergents

If you aim to eliminate unpleasant odors in the bathroom and toilet, there's no need to resort to chemical detergents often characterized by a pungent chlorine smell. We can prepare our effective bathroom cleaner, which leaves a more welcoming fragrance behind.

Wondering how to concoct this homemade bathroom and toilet cleaner? It's simpler than you might think. All needed are three tablespoons of vinegar, one tablespoon of salt, and approximately 0.26 gallons of laundry detergent. First, pour the vinegar into an enormous container, then add the salt and stir continuously until it dissolves completely. Then, mix this solution with the laundry detergent. With half of the mixture, thoroughly clean the toilet, covering the entire internal surface. Use the remaining cleaner for the rest of the bathroom.

Removing toilet limescale: an easy, effective trick

If you have a persistent limescale problem, you can prepare a mixture of a third cup of baking soda and a quarter cup of citric acid. In the toilet, stir this mixture until it becomes a cleaning foam. Allow the foam to work for approximately half an hour. Once the time is up, clean the inside of the toilet.

Another method for cleaning the toilet includes the use of vinegar. It's cost-effective, eco-friendly, and quite efficient. Just dilute it with water in a 1:1 ratio, adding a few drops of your favorite essential oil for a refreshing scent. Put this concoction in a spray bottle and spray it, especially in areas where deposits tend to build up. Then, proceed to clean the toilet.
