UK's defense boost sparks Russian nuclear threats
The Russians reacted with apprehension to the United Kingdom's military actions. In light of the military forces review and the revelation of possible plans regarding Russian aggression, the Kremlin responded with threats of a nuclear attack. Russian propagandists, consequently, are discussing a "nuclear Armageddon."
The UK government is carrying out a strategic review of its forces and also plans to increase defense spending. According to journalists from "Politico," Prime Minister Keir Starmer is preparing for a potential military conflict.
The British have not only assessed their army's readiness but have also analyzed the possibility of an attack from Russia. According to the report released by the government in London on Monday (June 2), the Kremlin could order strikes using cruise missiles, cyberattacks, sabotage, long-range drone attacks, and attempts to manipulate the media.
In response to these publications, the Russian authorities showed signs of nervousness. Kremlin officials began mentioning a nuclear attack on the United Kingdom. Even more intense rhetoric came from propagandists led by Vladimir Solovyov.
A prominent Kremlin propagandist and Rossiya 1 employee warned the United Kingdom of a "nuclear apocalypse." In his show, Solovyov threatened that it would lead to an "Armageddon" that will be "painful" for the British.
I don't understand why the British have gone mad. Where do they expect a confrontation with us? At what point? - Solovyov speculated.
Even more extreme statements came from political scientist and Kremlin propagandist Dmitry Yevstafyev.
They must understand that if the plan for direct military confrontation with Russia, which is being speculated about, is executed, everyone will face destruction. It will be a quick but painful demise. Death from nuclear radiation is not the most desirable way to die - Yevstafyev conveyed.
