The Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted an attack on an ammunition depot in the Volgograd region of Russia, where Iranian missiles were stored, during the night from Saturday to Sunday, reported Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

"Kotluban, Volgograd region. The ammunition depot of the Main Directorate of Missile and Artillery Armament of the Russian Ministry of Defense was attacked. Iranian ballistic missiles and launchers for them were stored there," wrote Andriy Kovalenko on his Telegram channel.

These reports have not yet been confirmed by other Ukrainian government institutions.

Earlier the same day, in the morning hours, the Russian authorities reported the shooting down overnight of 125 Ukrainian drones, including 67 in the Volgograd region, located several hundred miles from the border with Ukraine.
