Ukrainian soldiers have repeatedly demonstrated their well-trained skills on the front lines, including in aviation and infantry. The Ukrainian army also has incredibly effective snipers, as evidenced by the recording that appeared online.

It shows a Ukrainian sniper shooting at incoming Russian drones. The soldier shoots at successive airships, neutralizing them in combat. To neutralize the drones, he uses a .308 caliber weapon. For example, this type of weapon is used for hunting large game (deer, boar, etc.).

A sniper from the 3rd company of the Mainland battalion, known by the codename "Mielkii" ("Small"), is using a .308 caliber rifle to take down Russian drones near Vovchansk, according to Ukrainian war blogger and former politician Anton Gerashchenko on the platform X.

The recording was originally published on Telegram by soldiers from the Operational-Tactical Group Kharkiv. The video material is impressive. In the short video, the sniper is seen following the "escaping drone" with his scope.

The sniper fired several shots at the military aircraft. He ultimately managed to shoot down the enemy's drone.

Ukrainian military personnel praised their snipers, emphasizing that each downed drone brings them closer to freedom. They highlighted this as evidence that the Moscow state's army could not withstand their determination and urged their comrades to maintain the pressure in a message posted under the video.
