Ukrainian military intelligence reported on Wednesday about the spread of false news on social media, allegedly released in its name, concerning the threat of a "particularly massive" missile attack on Ukrainian cities. The ministry emphasizes that this information is false and part of Russia's information warfare.

The terrorist state engages in a massive informational and psychological attack against Ukraine. Messengers and social networks are spreading false news, allegedly on behalf of the Military Intelligence of Ukraine, about the threat of a "particularly massive" missile and bomb attack on Ukrainian cities today, stated the HUR's announcement.

Military intelligence points out that "this message is false and contains grammatical errors typical of Russian informational and psychological operations. We urge you to trust information only from official sources and the Military Intelligence of Ukraine."

Russians are trying to intimidate Ukrainian citizens

According to HUR, the enemy, unable to overpower the Ukrainians by force, resorts to methods of intimidation and psychological pressure on society. At the same time, intelligence advises not to ignore warnings about air raids and suggests waiting them out in a shelter, emphasizing the importance of staying calm.

The upcoming winter will undoubtedly again be marked by Russian attempts to intimidate and lower the morale of Ukrainians. Even now, increased attacks on Ukraine's critical infrastructure can be observed.
