Early this morning, reports surfaced online about a Ukrainian missile attack near the Crimean Bridge. The Russians are also reported to have fired missiles. Local channels have noted numerous explosions and visible air defense clashes from the Russian-occupied city of Kerch.

According to Kyiv Independent, explosions were recorded in the Ukrainian city of Chornomorsk around 12:30 AM Eastern Time. Residents have reported that the bridge connecting occupied Crimea with mainland Russia has been closed to traffic. Ukraine has not yet commented on the alleged attack.

Kyiv Independent also reports that a fire broke out near the ferry crossing in Kerch, which the Russians have occupied.

Another shelling of Crimea

Russian-occupied Crimea has once again come under shelling. At the beginning of June, significant explosions affected several districts, including Yevpatoria and Krasnoperekopsk. Residents reported an attack on the peninsula, prompting the Russians to close the Kerch Bridge crossing.

A week later, Russian Telegram channels published recordings from industrial cameras showing the attack. One of these recordings shows debris raining down on beachgoers, while another captures Russians fleeing in panic to a nearby café.
