The ISW report notes that the Russians have confirmed a successful attack by Ukrainian forces. On the night of January 5th to 6th, four maneuvering missiles struck a government building located at the Russian airport in Crimea.

The Commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Mykola Oleshchuk, expressed his gratitude to Ukrainian pilots for successfully executing strikes at Saka airport.

Besides these attacks, Ukrainian officials and sources have reported that Ukrainian forces have also targeted and struck the air defense radar system and communications center in Yevpatoria, which are responsible for coordinating Russian air defense activities in occupied Crimea.

In recent days, the ammunition depots near Pervomaisk (51 miles north of Simferopol) and the Russian command post near Sevastopol have also been reportedly targeted.

A Russian blogger with ties to the Kremlin has stated that Ukrainian forces are conducting deliberate attacks to weaken the Russian air defense system over the occupied Crimea.
