In many Ukrainian cities, crowds of young men of conscription age have lined up outside military recruitment offices since the morning. This is related to a new law concerning mobilization.
"Citizens of Ukraine who have not updated their information or entered it into the application or military units may be considered wanted," the Ukrainian Ministry of National Defense announced. Tuesday is the last day to do this. After this, men of conscription age may face severe consequences.
"If a conscript ignores the call sent to him and the military registration rules, after July 16, he may be placed on the wanted list," said Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernohorenko.

"Citizens who have not updated their information on time may be fined from $460 to $680," reminds the Suspilne portal on its Facebook profile.
It publishes photos from one of the recruitment offices where young men have been waiting in long lines since the morning.
The ministry emphasizes that if a person does not sign the notifications received from TCK (equivalent of Military Replacement Command) or Ukrposhta, i.e., summons, then such a notification will be considered delivered – similar to a court summons.
"If someone ignores the summons for a certain period, they will be sought," confirmed a representative of the Ministry of Defense.
