Gen. Syrskii revealed these operations on Sunday evening. "We are relentless in our pursuit and attack. Today, we conducted two strikes on enemy personnel concentrations in both the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions," he shared on Telegram.
"No place to hide"
The Chief Commander further stressed that "the occupiers will find no place to hide." He did not provide details on the casualties suffered by the Russians in these attacks.
On the same day, Gen. Syrskii reported a deteriorating situation at the front, with Russian forces "actively engaging along the entire front line and achieving tactical successes in several sectors."
Ukrainian forces adjust positions
The fiercest clashes are currently happening, among other areas, in the direction of Kupiansk in the country's east, where Russian forces "achieved partial victories but were ultimately halted," according to Gen. Syrskii's Telegram updates.
Near Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region, Russian troops have initiated an offensive aimed at the town of Chasiv Yar. However, "the most critical situation" unfolds around Pokrovsk and Kurakhove, where "intense combat continues," he remarked.
Gen. Syrskii also noted that Ukrainian forces have moved back to new defensive lines west of the villages of Berdychi and Semenivka, as well as near Novomykhailivka, adding that "to fortify these segments, we are redeploying units that have suffered less and are fully ready for combat." He also mentioned a "tense situation" in the south, though without elaborating further.
