The unit from the 14th Regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces, along with the 80th Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, captured Russian prisoners in the Kursk region of Russia. A recording of the arrest of Russians in the town of Sudzha appeared on the official channels of the units.

As seen in the video released by the units, the Russians surrendered right after the Ukrainians attacked a checkpoint in the town of Sudzha in the Kursk region.

They humiliated the Russians

The film simultaneously mocks the Russians. The video begins with a fragment of a speech by the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov, who, while reporting to Vladimir Putin, assures that the offensive was halted thanks to the excellent work of Russian artillery, aviation, and soldiers.

During Gerasimov's speech, we see the Sudzha checkpoint in the Kursk region and the attacking Ukrainian drones. When the building is shelled, a group of Russian soldiers emerges from it shortly after—one of them holding a white flag, which is clearly visible in the video. The Russians have their hands raised. The group consists of nine soldiers.

In the second part of the video, an even larger group of soldiers is seen, first raising their hands and then lying down on the ground. Two men in this group are holding white flags. The film ends with a drone shot showing the prisoners boarding a military truck with a triangle symbol.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday evening, both Ukrainian and Russian media reported that during the ongoing offensive in the Kursk region of Russia, dozens of Putin's soldiers were captured. Prisoners were taken near the village of Gogolevka, close to the border with Ukraine. Several hundred more soldiers were said to have surrendered.

These vehicles with the triangle sign attacked the Kursk region early Tuesday morning.

In Sudzha, there is the last pumping station for Russian gas to Europe before the border.
