Ukrainians have captured another Russian soldier who revealed the harsh realities on the front line. Rustam Sagitovich Gareyev primarily operated in the Donetsk region. During his interrogation, he admitted to executing several people and described the rapes of children committed by Vladimir Putin's army.

The war in Ukraine has been ongoing for more than two years. During this time, Ukrainians have been sharing horrifying stories with the media that they obtained during interrogations of captured Russian soldiers. A new video has appeared on social media posted by Anton Herashchenko, a Ukrainian politician and analyst.

He described in detail, quite calmly, how many and how the occupiers killed civilians in the Russian-occupied Avdiivka and nearby settlements. This is the essence of the so-called "liberators" - Herashchenko writes.

The video shows Russian captive Rustam Sagitovich Gareyev. He comes from the Tyumen region bordering Kazakhstan, about 1900 miles from Ukraine. The stories in which he was one of the main characters occurred in February of this year in the Donetsk region - in Avdiivka and neighboring towns.

Russian war crimes on the front in Ukraine

His comrades abandoned the Russian and thus ended up in Ukrainian captivity in the town of Ocheretyne. He recounted that he and his comrades were looking for lodging, mainly in basements in Vodiane, Lastochkyne, and the aforementioned Avdiivka.

In Lastochkyne, we found a house with people. First, we struck the residents with rifle butts on their hands and legs for at least 20 minutes. Then we found a rope and hanged them. They were unconscious but still alive - recounts one of Vladimir Putin's soldiers.

Another horrendous crime occurred in Avdiivka. There, the Russians found a woman and an 11-year-old child. They claimed they had nowhere to go and no means to escape. They taped their mouths and then "committed acts of violence" for up to two hours. After that, they lined them against a wall and shot them.

Another story from another town in the Donetsk region. The Russians treated another two women and a 10-year-old girl in a very similar manner, harming the girl in front of the older ones.

Rustam Sagitovich Gareyev admitted during interrogation that he had raped six women, five girls, and three boys.
