After the Ukrainian drone attack on Kazan, airports in Kazan and Izhevsk have halted flights. The drones targeted various locations, including a luxury building.
Many reports by Russian media or government representatives are part of propaganda efforts. Such reports are elements of the information warfare conducted by the Russian Federation.
The Kazan airport has suspended arrivals and departures following the Ukrainian drone attack on the city. This information was reported by the Russian aviation authority, Rosaviatsiya, and cited by Reuters. Temporary restrictions were also introduced at the Izhevsk airport.
Drone attack on Kazan
Russian news agencies have reported a drone attack on a residential complex in Kazan, located about 500 miles east of Moscow. The TASS agency claims that there were eight registered drone attacks, including six on residential buildings, as reported by Reuters.
Local authorities, cited by the agencies, have not yet released information on any possible casualties from the attack. Materials have appeared on Telegram showing an aerial object striking a high-rise building, which resulted in a fire.
Rosaviatsiya added that it is imposing temporary restrictions at the Izhevsk airport, a smaller city northeast of Kazan.
Some drones hit residential buildings, one of which is a 32-story luxury building, reports "Ukrainian Pravda."
