The war in Ukraine has been ongoing for two years, throughout which the Ukrainian army has consistently released videos showcasing the effective deployment of drones.

Commercial drones outfitted with payloads are gradually replacing military Bayraktars. This approach reduces warfare costs and makes these drones more accessible and numerous.

Drones capable of sinking Russian boats

The latest footage released by the Ukrainian forces highlights their combat efficiency, showing a Russian boat being destroyed by a drone using FPV (first-person view) technology. The ship sank along with its seven-member crew.

This operation demonstrates the considerable skill of Ukrainian soldiers, who managed to hit a fast-moving target, but also illustrates the dynamic nature of the battlefield, which demands high levels of proficiency from soldiers.

The Ukrainian forces have recognized the value of drones; after successful deployments, they began producing their own. Initially, production was primarily undertaken in garages, a practice that faced criticism from the authorities in Kyiv.
