Effective Ukrainian drone attacks on power plants, transformer stations, and power grids are causing growing issues with power supply in Russia. On Monday morning, citizens in three regions—Kursk, Voronezh, and Belgorod—felt the impacts.
The newspaper states that local Russian authorities have warned citizens about power supply disruptions. They indicated that it is a consequence of "external influence" or "technological violations." They remain silent about the nightly attack by Ukrainian drones on power plants.

According to the Moscow newspaper "RBK," cars fitted with loudspeakers circulate through cities and villages, broadcasting warnings about outages.
"Traffic lights in cities have stopped working, causing traffic chaos. There are issues with pressure in the water supply network, resulting in a lack of water in faucets. Refrigerators are without power, and temperatures are high. Elevators in high-rise buildings are not functioning, and there is no power for electronics."
The newspaper adds that authorities in the Voronezh region are already warning citizens that the electricity shortage will not disappear in the coming days. However, they communicate that these are "planned" outages and not the effects of the war in Ukraine.
