Ukrainian drone strike embarrasses Chechen leader in Grozny

Ukrainian drones attacked the special forces barracks in Grozny on Wednesday. An enraged leader of Chechnya proposed using Ukrainian captives as "human shields." But he didn't stop there. He suggested to one captive that he should commit suicide. "I'll give you a gun," he said.

Today, Chechens can communicate "directly" with their leader, Ramzan Kadyrov. Preparations for this event lasted several days. By yesterday, the media reported that everything was ready to go.

However, the joyful atmosphere was disrupted in the morning by the attack of Ukrainian drones on the special forces barracks in Grozny. It was quite an embarrassment for the Chechen warlord.

Nevertheless, in the evening, Kadyrov made a triumphant appearance on television riding a captured American infantry fighting vehicle. He was accompanied by a dozen Ukrainian captives.

Kadyrov's outrageous performance

He first asked them if they were being treated well, and when they confirmed, he stated they looked "as if they had just returned from vacation." He then said they should be placed on the rooftops of Chechen military facilities, "photographed by American satellites." - Let them protect our territory, he added, suggesting they should be placed there as "human shields."

However, this was not the only outrageous performance by Kadyrov. At one point, he approached one of the Ukrainian captives. "Better to die than be captured." If you want, I’ll give you a gun... Will you shoot yourself?" he asked the captive.

The captive replied that he would not do it. When asked "why?" the captive answered: "because I want to live."

"There is war there; you went to kill and die," "I'll give you a weapon, and you'll shoot yourself and die like a hero," Kadyrov continued.

"No," replied the captive once again.

"You don't want to, right? He wants to kill but doesn't want to die." That's not how it works! In war, you kill and you die. One must think first. This is not a cartoon," declared the Chechen warlord.
