Ukrainian defenses down 73 drones, but attacks claim lives

The Ukrainian air defense successfully neutralized 73 out of the 119 drones sent by Russian forces on the night from Saturday to Sunday.
"The enemy attacked with 119 unmanned Shahed strike aircraft and various types of decoy drones from the directions of Oryol, Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Russian Federation, and (Cape) Chauda in Russian-occupied Crimea," reported the Air Forces on Telegram.
Effects of the attacks in the Kherson and Donetsk regions
As a result of the Russian attacks in the Kherson and Donetsk regions, four people were killed, and 29 were injured.
Roman Mroczko, head of the Kherson military administration, reported that as a result of the night attacks on the Kherson region, two people were killed and six were injured.
The situation in the Donetsk region was equally dire. The head of the regional authorities, Vadym Filashkin, reported that due to the aggression by the Russian Federation, two civilians were killed and 23 were injured.
Drone shootdowns and defensive actions
In 12 regions of Ukraine, the downing of 73 unmanned Shahed-type aerial vehicles and other types was confirmed. Additionally, 37 Russian drones were neutralized through the use of electronic warfare measures. The attacks affected the regions of the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia.
