Ukrainian cities rattled by drone attacks: Russian air defense down 26 planes in two hours
In Sevastopol, which is temporarily under Russian occupation, the sounds of explosions were notably heard. The news was reported by Michail Razvozhayev, the self-proclaimed governor. He believes, as conveyed via Ukrayinska Pravda, that the cause of the racket was a drone being shot down.

Multiple explosions observed in Crimea
According to reports by Krym.Realii, Sevastopol saw a series of missile detonations in its city center. An intense explosion was audible at the entrance of the main bay.
No damage to infrastructure was recorded, as per Razvozhayev, who informed through Telegram that the Russian air defense managed to shoot down a drone.
Crymskyi Veter Channel also updated on Telegram about explosions occurring in Dzhankoy, Crimea. Consequently, the border region experienced a lockdown. The Krym.Realii Channel, corroborating reports from residents, reported that the Russian air defense has been active in the Black Sea region.
The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed the successful downing of 26 Ukrainian airplanes over the Crimean Peninsula, within just two hours.
Report of explosions in Kyiv too
The capital city of Ukraine, Kyiv, was stirred up by the sounds of explosions on Friday evening, as reported by the city's mayor, Vitali Klitschko. He sent out warnings to the residents regarding the potential menace from Russian drones.
Vitali Klitschko assured the public that an anti-aircraft defense system is in place for Kyiv and gave an alert about another drone fleet advancing towards the city.
An air raid alarm sounded across the Kyiv region. Drones have also been spotted moving towards the Cherkasy region.
Early morning reports by the Ukrinform service mentioned successful attempts at repelling drone attacks on Kyiv.
