"Together with Ukrainian Minister of Defense Rustem Umierov, I visited the advanced command posts of military units in the area of war operations," reported Armed Forces Chief Commander, Gen. Oleksandr Syrsky.
Syrsky's immediate orders
He relayed that he listened to the reports from the commanders. "The enemy regularly storms the positions of our troops. In many areas, the situation is complex and requires constant monitoring", wrote Syrsky.
One of the topics was about the protection of troops from drone and air raids, in addition to reinforcing the front areas.
"Once again, I underscored to the commanders the importance of coordination and proper operational interaction of all Defense Forces while also ensuring the safety of our defenders. To enhance combat readiness, stability, and unit management, I made several immediate decisions on the spot," conveyed the general.
Reportedly, since the beginning of their full-scale invasion that started two years ago, Russia has lost 410,000 soldiers in Ukraine, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on February 25.
Syrsky and Umierov also conferred honors on the soldiers fighting on the front lines.
