Ukraine's Foreign Minister Calls for Urgent Support Amid Russian Threat

**"Vladimir Putin is indeed a threat to NATO countries,"** it’s high time we realize and act to neutralize the danger by supporting Ukraine, Kuleba urged during his visit to Vilnius for discussions with counterparts on the war and halting Russian advances.

**"Please, wake up,"** Kuleba implored Western allies.

**Kuleba's plea is grounded in stark reality; Ukraine is increasingly struggling** to fend off Russian aggression. There's an acute shortage of weapons, ammunition, and troops as Russia continues its advancement, claiming victories. The harsh winter and the bleak outlook for spring only exacerbate the situation. Without substantial aid, Ukraine's defeat is imminent.

**"We must come to terms with a new reality, the era of peace in Europe is over,"** Kuleba stated candidly.

However, without ongoing support from the West and the USA, repelling the aggressor becomes increasingly daunting. The adversary is relentless, advancing regardless of its own losses. **"The current situation is dire for everyone involved,"** Kuleba warned, urging for complete and unrestricted military aid to Ukraine. His plea was supported by the Foreign Ministers of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and France, who, as of early 2024, are spearheading support initiatives for Kyiv and advocating for global engagement.

**Even France is contemplating** sending troops to Ukraine.
