Ukraine withstands unprecedented surge in Russian attacks
Saturday marked the most challenging day on the Ukrainian front since the beginning of 2025, according to the DeepState project, which monitors the situation using maps. They reported as many as 250 combat clashes. The intensity of Russian actions was exceptionally high, as confirmed by the General Staff of Ukraine.

With 250 combat clashes, the hostilities were extraordinarily intense. The General Staff of Ukraine confirmed that the number of enemy attacks was significantly higher than the previous day.
Intense attacks in Donetsk Oblast
Russian attacks primarily focused on the cities of Pokrovsk and Kurakhove, as well as the village of Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk Oblast.
The Ukrainian army highlighted that the number of attacks nearly tripled from the previous day, signaling an escalation in military activities.
The situation on the front remains tense, and the intensity of military actions continues to grow. There are still no specific agreements regarding a potential peace settlement, but negotiations involving Russia, Ukraine, and the USA could occur in the coming days. The location expected for these talks is Saudi Arabia.
