The Ukrainian military has launched a missile attack on the Russian-occupied Luhansk region, targeting an industrial complex that reportedly manufactures vehicles for Russia, according to Ukrainian media. The Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed this action.

Reports from Ukrainian media and the Armed Forces indicate a strike in Luhansk.

"The strike targeted the Luhansk Machine Building Plants, which preliminary data suggest houses an enemy base," the Ukrainian military stated on Telegram.

Ukrinform reports observing plumes of black smoke, indicative of diesel fuel burning, above Luhansk.

Ukrinform also recalls a recent incident on April 11 in the currently occupied Mariupol, where three powerful explosions were reported. Two occurred in the port area and another near the railway line.
