The attack was carried out overnight from Wednesday to Thursday. The Russians use the blocked ferry crossing to supply their units in annexed Crimea.

The Ukrainian General Staff stated that as a result of the actions of Ukrainian rocket forces, the military logistics of the occupiers in Crimea were significantly damaged.

Earlier, the occupying authorities of the peninsula reported the shelling. The so-called Minister of Transport of Crimea, Nikolai Lukashenko, stated that Ukrainian forces attacked transportation infrastructure facilities in Kerch, eastern Crimea.

Kerch Strait attacked. Two ferries damaged

"While repelling the enemy's attack on transportation infrastructure facilities in the city of Kerch, two ferries - one for cars and one for trains - were damaged by fragments of intercepted missiles. The windows of the superstructures were damaged. There were no casualties among sailors and civilians. After assessing the damage, the ferry crossing will be resumed," the politician conveyed on Telegram.

The "Ukrainian Pravda" portal reports that about 20 explosions were heard in Kerch.
