Drones - the key at this war

According to reports, the Unmanned Systems Force will focus its efforts in particular on improving Ukraine's drone work, creating special units specializing in drones, intensifying training, systematizing their use, increasing production and promoting innovation.

Zelensky in a statement on Tuesday, commented on the situation on the frontline and announced an intensification of drone operations. - This year should be decisive in many aspects – and, obviously, on the battlefield (...) Drones – unmanned systems – have proven their effectiveness in battles on land, in the sky, and at sea (...) Ukraine has really changed the security situation in the Black Sea thanks to drones. Repelling assaults on the ground is largely the work of drones. The large-scale destruction of the (Russian) occupiers and their equipment is (also due to) drones - he said.

As reported "The Kyiv Independnet" according to the President's Office, the division will be aimed at "enhancing the capabilities of the Ukrainian armed forces and the use of unmanned and robotic air, sea and ground systems."

During the Russia-Ukraine conflict, battles involving drones frequently feature large numbers of drones launching simultaneous attacks. For instance, a Russian offensive in November utilized a swarm of 75 drones manufactured in Iran - as reported by Ukraine's air force.
