"I informed my British counterpart about the current strategic situation and the organization of repelling Russian armed aggression against Ukraine on certain sections of the front. The conversation also addressed the possibility of striking enemy military targets at operational and strategic depths. Currently, the British side is working on its own proposals as part of the practical implementation of the victory plan," noted Gen. Syrskyi in a message published on the Telegram messenger.

The parties also discussed delivering military equipment and weapons to Ukraine, training military personnel, and increasing the effectiveness of advanced technological combat means.

Gen. Syrskyi highlights Russia's crimes

"I drew my British colleague's attention to the cynical violations of international humanitarian law and war crimes committed by the Russian military, as well as Russian airstrikes on Ukraine's critical infrastructure and mass bombardment of civilian targets," noted Gen. Syrskyi.

The Ukrainian commander also thanked the United Kingdom for its steadfast and unwavering support for Ukraine.
