This was later confirmed by White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi received a letter from US President Donald Trump, which a senior diplomat from the United Arab Emirates delivered to Tehran and according to the Iranian Fars news agency, Anwar Gargash, the diplomatic advisor to the UAE President, handed over the document.

The spokesperson did not predict whether Presidents Trump and Putin will soon have a conversation.

Observers indicate that after Ukraine agreed to a temporary ceasefire, it was expected that Washington would intensify dialogue with the Kremlin.

They also remind us that the Russian side has announced that it will not decide on a 30-day ceasefire until the Americans provide the details.
