Firefighters' intervention. Two U.S. soldiers needed help

Chief Inspector Roman Kuster explained that two U.S. soldiers, returning from leave, tried to cross the Bóbr River's floodplain. The river's strong current carried them away, and after swimming roughly 220 yards, they managed to grab onto trees and climb onto the barriers.

He added that they were transported to a safe place using a fire department boat and handed over to the commander supervising them. The policeman emphasized that such interventions are numerous.

Chief Inspector Kuster also informed that no reported missing persons have been reported, and so far, two incidents related to looters have been recorded; this number has not changed. If there are further incidents, I will report them promptly, he emphasized.
