Venessa and Kerissa are twins who supposedly never considered the possibility of marrying identical brothers. Then, the brothers Jacob and Lucas Sealby crossed their paths and quickly formed a bond of understanding. Today, they have harmonious relationships and discuss their lives on the "Today" show.
The twin sisters married twins. this is what their children look like
They had their first date in 2020, united by a love of sports, though the sisters were initially skeptical. Venessa says she got Lucas' number but had no intention of contacting him. However, the invitation came from Jacob and Lucas, and today, the sisters and the brothers are harmonious couples. They share details of their lives on social media.
We didn’t have any interest in dating twins - Vanessa said on the show. - The idea kind of creeped us out, like no, that’s weird. And physically we had completely different types.
Venessa and Lucas are extroverts, so they had no problem getting along. Kerissa and Jacob were more reserved, but they had their siblings' support to get to know each other better. The first couple got married in October 2022, and the second several months later, in June 2023.
They had twins three times
The twins admit that neither of them ever envisioned a double wedding. However, this does not mean they are not very close, as they live next to each other and see each other
"about 10 times a day." Interestingly, there was an occasion when Lucas mistook his wife for her sister. It was awkward, but today, they recall it humorously.
I thought my wife was looking really good in the kitchen after the gym, so I gave her a light tap on the behind. And it turned out it was not her! - he admitted.
I was like, 'What are you doing!?' - added Kerissa.
Both couples already have children: Venessa and Lucas are the parents of little Adrian, and Kerissa and Jacob will soon celebrate Sophie's 2nd birthday. Their children are quaternary twins, meaning they are cousins but genetically almost siblings. Specialists confirmed this during their conversation on "Today."
Even though they have different parents, they’re genetically full siblings - said Dr. Robert Green.
In the future, the couples plan to further expand their families.
We’ve been talking about it. Jacob and I are close to being ready - Kerissa admitted. It would be so fun to have kids the same age and at the same school.
