The representative of Turkey in shooting, Yusuf Dikec, gained immense recognition after his performance at the Olympic Games in Paris. The 51-year-old appeared exceptionally relaxed during the competition. He shot with one hand in his pocket and won a silver medal. "Inside there was a storm raging," Dikec said in an interview with Reuters.

Yusuf Dikec, along with his partner Sevval Ilayda Tarhan, won the silver medal in the mixed 10-meter air pistol event. During the competition, the 51-year-old became famous for his unusual stance.

During shooting, the athlete kept one hand in his pocket, and instead of professional headphones and special visors, he only used corrective glasses and earplugs. He looked quite laid-back.

At that moment, everyone said I seemed very calm. But in reality, there was a storm raging inside - said Dikec in an interview with Reuters.
I think my shooting posture very well represented the spirit of Olympic fair play, simplicity, transparency, and naturalness. That's why it attracted so much attention - explained the representative of Turkey.
